Not everything is code!

With SXA your team can focus on the experience. Let me share what I see since I started working with SXA and how it changes the way we create websites. If you’ve worked with Sitecore before, you know how much time and detail it can take to build a site. With Sitecore SXA, things become faster and easier, while still giving you the flexibility to customize.
How does it change things?
SXA introduces a modular way to work. Instead of building everything from zero, you get pre-built components, page layouts, and tools to make the process faster. This means you can spend more time on what really matters—creating a great experience.
How does it work?
With SXA, you first create tenants and sites to organize your content. Then, SXA gives you ready-to-use components, like navigation menus, image galleries, and forms, which you can drag and drop into your pages.
What about design? SXA has a feature called Creative Exchange. This allows your frontend team to work on the website design separately and then upload it back into Sitecore. It’s super helpful for teamwork.
Why is it better?
Without SXA, you would need to build many things manually, like layouts and content structures. With SXA, these are already available, and you can reuse them across the site. It’s also flexible enough to work for both small and big websites.
The picture behind will give you an idea of the structure SXA presents.

And here you can see all the components available in SXA for building your site.

There can be challenges, like learning how SXA works if you’re used to doing everything yourself. But once you understand it, you’ll see how much faster and more organized your projects can be.
Fun fact, the first time I worked with an SXA project, I got surprised seeing the solution with the minimum code. Everything in SXA is configured in the instance.
That’s it for now! Sitecore SXA is a powerful tool that makes building websites easier and faster. Let me know your thoughts or share your tips if you’ve worked with it too! Stay tuned for more details!
